Detailing a vehicle may seem straight forward and easy but there is more to it than what meets the eye. Yes, you can take your car to one of those quick drive through car wash machines, but over time the harsh chemicals and rough bristles of the scrubbers are going to scratch and fade your paint. We use high quality cleaning products that are very safe for your paint, and contain properties that protect it from the harsh envionment. In addition, we always use premium microfiber towels which are plush and soft and will not leave swirl marks or scratches on your paint.

The amount of time a detail takes varies. The size of the vehicle, type of service, as well as the level of contamination can all vary from one detail to another. Generally speaking, a small sedan that is moderatly dirty, can be detailed within 1-4 hours. Our goal at Rooster Tail Mobile Detailing is to always focus on giving you the best possible outcome no matter how long it takes. We want you to be satisifed!

We reccomend a complete detail at least once every season. In addition, a maintance wash every 2-4 weeks. This keeps your car looking great all year round and protects it from the harsh elements. Ultimatley, the decision is yours. We can detail your vehicle as often as you prefer.

Light scratches can be removed by compounding/polishing the surface of the affected area.

If scratches have only gone through one or two coats of clear coat, they can be wet sanded out.

If scratches have gone completely though the clear coat, then the vehicle will unfortunately have to be repainted.
